The Big Squeal Book Signing

The Friends of the Charleston Carnegie Public Library have invited "The Big Squeal" by Liberty the Pig to participate in the first Library Art Fair.
The event will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9 at the library to coincide with the Christmas shopping season.

Representing Liberty will be "As Told To Author" Carol Alexander. Also participating will be Kevin Corley, author of "Sixteen Tons." Kevin, now of Springfield, IL is a former grade school principal in Taylorville.

Everyone is invited to meet Carol and Kevin in Charleston, IL. Both books recount TRUE events in heartland history. For Christmas stockings and nostalgia lovers, gift-boxed beverage mugs and post cards imprinted with a map of Abe Lincoln's Taylorville will be available for purchase.

It is a great story and tells all about me and how I found Mrs. Carol Alexander. It also tells of Abraham Lincoln and how you should rub the nose on my statue up on the square.

Miss Liberty Has A Play Date!

I can't wait for Saturday!

My friend Jacob Niewinski, whose Grandpa gave him "The Big Squeal by Liberty the Pig" for Christmas, is coming over Saturday for a play date.

He promises to bring me a big juicy apple as a present so I will do my favorite trick: standing on my hind legs and pushing my dog igloo around the yard...it's like a circus act, I have been told. I slept in the igloo as a piglet, before my condo was built.

It is wet and sloppy out now so my "As Told To Author Carol Alexander" is spreading white pieces of paper all around the yard in the hope of getting my hoof print. She wants to get a rubber stamp so I can sign my own books!

I have a question for all of you: Do you know any other pigs who have written their own memoir?
