Pictured, Alexander reads to Mrs. Palmer and Ms. Bandy’s second grade students. The book is based off of the journey of Alexander’s real porcine, Liberty, and, the only statue in the world of Lincoln and a pig, which sits on the Taylorville square. The book has been out for two and a half weeks. It is available at Cottage Rose Gift Shoppe, the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce, Dana’s Book Exchange and the office of Christian County Board Chairman Paul Schmitz in the Christian County Courthouse, all on the Taylorville Square.
